Signal Work Between Boothbay Harbor and Ellsworth

HANCOCK. KNOX, LINCOLN, AND WALDO COUNTIES - The Maine Department of Transportation is replacing 355 traffic signal heads at 42 intersections between Boothbay Harbor and Ellsworth. The upgraded signals will provide higher visibility to improve driver safety. The affected intersections are in Boothbay Harbor, Bucksport, Damariscotta, Ellsworth, Prospect, Rockland, Rockport, Thomaston, Waldoboro, and Warren. We expect there will be minimal impacts to traffic while this work is being done. The contractor on this project is Dagle Electrical Construction Corporation of Plaistow, New Hampshire. We expect this project will be finished by the end of June.
