Winthrop ? Crews will be grinding rumble strips into the pavement along the roadway centerline on Route 202 in Winthrop beginning on Thursday, September 18th.
The location is on Route 202, a 4.60 mile stretch of road beginning 0.08 of a mile east of the intersection of Route 202 and Annabessacook Road extending easterly 4.60 miles to 0.03 of a mile east of Welch Point Road.
Motorists should expect at least one 11ft. lane open in each direction and should anticipate possible delays between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This effort is an attempt to create a safer corridor for motorists to travel.
It is anticipated all work will be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, September 24th.
CPM Constructors of Freeport will perform this $87,785 project.
