READFIELD - The Maine Department of Transportation is going to be detouring traffic on Route 41 in Readfield to replace a culvert. The work area is near the intersection of Route 41 and Beans Mills Road. The 36-hour-detour will start at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16th and end at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17th. After the detour ends, work on the project will continue until September 21st, and drivers should expect an alternating single-lane traffic pattern.
