Roadwork in Gorham

GORHAM - The Maine Department of Transportation is performing paving work on Route 114 (School Street) in Gorham. The project area begins at the intersection of Main Street and School Street and extends 1.6 miles north along School Street. The project will perform paving, improve pedestrian safety, and improve drainage. Work will begin on Monday, May 12 and is scheduled to be finished by June of this year. Drivers traveling through the project location will encounter a single-lane, alternating traffic pattern. The contractor for this work is Glidden Excavating and Paving of Gorham. The contract amount is $494,755.
