Rail Crossing Work In Norridgewock Will Close Route 201A For 36 hours

NORRIDGEWOCK, Maine ? Motorists who utilize Route 201A and 8 in Norridgewock need to be aware of upcoming rail crossing work that will necessitate a 36-hour road closure that begins Monday, September 26. Vehicles will be directed to a signed detour that utilizes Route 2, Route 201 and the River Road.

Construction on the railroad crossing is set to begin at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, September 26 and is expected to complete by late afternoon on Tuesday, September 27. The railroad crossing is located just south of the Norridgewock Bridge.
