Portland - Crews will be performing priority maintenance repairs on the Casco Bay Bridge, which links Portland and South Portland, beginning on Tuesday, February 19th.
Due to this work, there will be additional openings not exceeding 15 minutes with no additional openings between the peak commuting times of 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of this work is to adjust and align where the two spans meet to assure proper alignment.
While the work may be completed earlier, it is anticipated this project will be finished no later than Friday, February 22nd.
