Note: New northbound and southbound day change
Kittery ? Overnight paving begins Monday, May 6th on I-95 in Kittery. The project begins just north of the Spruce Creek Bridge and extends southerly 1.9 miles to the Piscataquis River Bridge at the Maine/New Hampshire border.
Northbound lanes will be paved between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings to reduce traffic impacts. Lane use will be restricted to one lane.
Southbound lanes will be done between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday nights through Saturday mornings. On and off ramps may be closed for certain operations periodically, including drainage work.
Motorists should use caution as ?uneven lanes? will require attention upon changing lanes.
The roadway surface will be removed and repaved to provide a smoother and safer ride.
Weather permitting, it is anticipated all work will be completed by the end of June.
