MaineDOT to Perform Work on Route 202 in Lebanon

Drivers should plan for one-way alternating traffic.

LEBANON– Feb.26, 2026 — Starting March 9, 2026, the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) will begin intersection realignment and reconstruction work on Route 202 in Lebanon. The work will take place at the intersection of Long Swamp Road and Center Road.

There will be one-way alternating traffic throughout the duration of the project.

Work is expected to be completed by May 2026. This project will improve the safety of this intersection and the stretch of road. In addition to realignment and reconstruction, protected left hand turn lanes will be added onto Long Swamp Road and Center Road with raised concrete islands.

The contractor on this project is NM Curtis Earthworks of North Berwick, Maine. The contract amount is $1,588,000.
