MaineDOT Closes Kelley Brook Bridge
Drivers should plan to use the detour.
WHITEFIELD – March 23, 2026 — The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) has closed the Kelley Brook Bridge in Whitefield for a bridge replacement project after determining the structure was unsafe.
Drivers should follow the detour route provided. In addition, message boards and detour signs are on site to inform the public.
The contractor on this project is Wyman & Simpson of Richmond, Maine.
MaineDOT appreciates the understanding and patience of the traveling public during this closure period.
