Waterville ? A paving project will begin on Sunday evening, July 8th on Interstate 95 northbound starting at the Webb Road Bridge in Waterville (mile marker 125) and extend north to Pittsfield. (mile marker 147)
This night work will start on Sunday evening at 7pm, lasting through Friday mornings at 7am. This will include ramp closures for the overnight.
On the section of I-95 from Waterville to Fairfield, work will commence from Sunday at 7pm through Friday morning at 7am. Work will continue from Sunday at 7pm through Saturday morning on the section of I-95 from Fairfield to Pittsfield. There will be single lane traffic during these hours. On and off ramps at Exit 127, Kennedy Memorial Drive and Exit 130 (Main Street) may be closed to traffic between the hours of 10pm and 7am. All other ramps will be closed between the hours of 7pm and 7am.
All ramp closures will have 72 hours of advanced notice with variable message boards indicating those upcoming closures and indicating which exists are available to commuters for easiest access.
While this work is weather dependant, the entire project is expected to extend into the first of September.
