Full Scale Hazmat Exercise to Take Place in Gray

Gray ? On Friday and Saturday, October 14th and 15th, the Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency will be conducting a full scale hazmat exercise on Depot Road in Gray at the railroad crossing.

Due to this activity, there will be a road closure of Depot Road between Intervale Road and Mayall Road to through traffic. Two detour routes will be in place. The first will utilize Route 115, Mill Road in North Yarmouth and Route 231. The other detour will use Mayall Road, Route 4/202 and Morse Road in New Gloucester. The Cumberland County Sheriff?s Office will have personnel directing traffic.

Message boards are currently in place to alert drivers.

The exercise will run on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Motorists are advised to plan accordingly.
