WILTON - The Maine Department of transportation is performing an emergency replacement on a failing culvert located on US Route 2/4 in Wilton. The work area is 200 feet south of Munson Road. Work is scheduled to begin on June 9th and is scheduled to be finished by June 16th. Drivers can expect a full closure of the roadway at the project location. A detour utilizing Routes 133 and 156 will be in effect for the project duration. The detour route will be marked. The contractor on this project is Wyman & Simpson, INC. of Richmond. The contract amount is $342,000.
