Gouldsboro ? Crews are in the process a culvert replacement and guardrail improvements project at the intersection of Route 186 with the Clinic Road in Gouldsboro. Alternating one-way traffic assisted by flaggers is underway, with a temporary road being constructed by the end of this week. This temporary road, with signalized traffic lights, will facilitate the replacement of the culvert and help traffic flow toward Winter Harbor without disruption.
The physical location of the work zone is on Route 186 at the intersection with Clinic Road, extending approximately 500 ft. toward Winter Harbor.
Crews from Lane Construction anticipate the entire project will be completed by the first week of October.
