Culvert Replacement in Carroll Plantation

Carroll Plantation ? Crews will be replacing a culvert in Carroll Plantation beginning on August 4th.

The location is on Route 6 approximately 4.79 miles east of the intersection of Bottle Lake Road and Route 6 or .041 of a mile east of the intersection of North Road and Route 6. The work zone extends 500ft. on each side of this location.

There will be a complete road closure scheduled from August 6th through the 9th, with rain dates of August 11th through the 13th. Prior to and after the road closure, one lane of alternating one-way traffic will be in place to prepare for the replacement of the culvert and then afterward to pave the road and reset the guardrail.

Motorists will travel the approximately 22 mile signed detour route traveling north on Route 169 through Danforth then onto Route 1.

It is anticipated all work will be completed by Wednesday, August 20th.

Thomas DiCenzo, Inc. will perform this $216,000 project.
