Continued Repairs on I-95 Northbound in Fairfield

Fairfield ? Crews will be back in the northbound travel lane on I-95 over the Route 201 bridge in Fairfield to further repair several large potholes from the recent heavy rains.

Maine State Troopers will assist with a rolling roadblock from Waterville Exit 130 to Fairfield Exit 133 northbound beginning at 9:00 p.m. After each rolling roadblock, the Troopers will allow traffic to clear before another is initiated.

The rolling roadblock will be driven at about 15mph to allow up to 12 minutes of working time at the bridge site. The northbound Exit 132 on-ramp will be closed while this work is being performed.

In the 12 minute window, crews will clean the potholes, heat them and apply a product called Perma-Patch to fill the holes prior to the compacting.

It is anticipated all work will be completed by 10:30 p.m. tonight.
