South Berwick, Village Transportation Improvements Project, Route 236 Improvements, WIN 028498.00 - Formal In-Person Meeting

To Discuss Proposed Route 236 improvements: Beginning 0.09 of a mile southeast of Harold L. Dow Highway and extending north 0.35 of a mile along Main Street and Portland Street.

MaineDOT invites and encourages you to attend an in-person public meeting, which will provide information about the proposed project. The Town of South Berwick and MaineDOT will hold an in-person Open House and Public Meeting, on October 6, 2026, at the Community Center at 71 Norton Street, South Berwick. The Open House will be from 5:00 - 5:45 PM and allow members of the public to meet with team members one-to-one or in small groups to ask questions about different project features. The Public Meeting will be from 6:00 - 7:30 PM and include a formal presentation and question and answer period.

MaineDOT will also provide an on-demand public meeting, which can be viewed at any time during the formal comment period, and that allows for online comments and questions that will be answered by MaineDOT staff. The formal comment period will last from October 5, 2026, through October 21, 2026.
