PUBLIC MEETINGS
Lubec, Maine and Welshpool, New Brunswick

The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) in conjunction with the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (NBDTI), will be holding open houses and an on demand public meeting to obtain public feedback related to a bridge improvement project for the FDR Memorial Bridge #5978/C076 connecting Lubec, Maine with Welshpool, New Brunswick.
The open houses will begin with a brief presentation of information followed by providing the public with the opportunity to view presentation materials and provide feedback.
MaineDOT invites and encourages the public to participate in the formal public meeting process for the FDR Bridge. Members of the public are encouraged to view the project presentation online or attend the in-person meeting on June 24th in Lubec, ME or Wilson's Beach, NB.
The on-demand virtual public meeting can be viewed at any time during the formal comment period and allows for online comments and questions that will be answered by MaineDOT and NBDTI staff. The formal comment period for the on-demand meeting will last from June 23, 2026 through July 8, 2026.
