Maine Forest Service Insect and Disease Contacts
Staff provide forest and shade-tree related insect and disease diagnosis and advice. The laboratory houses an extensive insect collection and a technical reference library. A stock of information sheets and brochures is available on many of the more common insect and disease problems (some available on-line).

You may submit a sample of insects and diseases that are affecting your trees along with a description of the damage by mail or in person. Please use our on-line reporting form or one of our printable forms when you submit a sample. If you have trouble with the on-line form, please feel free to reach out by email or call.
