KENNEBUNK - The Maine Department of Transportation will be doing paving work on Fletcher Street (Route 35) in Kennebunk. This work includes the roundabout and parts of all four approaches. The project area begins at the intersection of Fletcher Street and Route 1 and extends approximately a half-mile through the roundabout. The work is scheduled to begin on May 26th and end on June 12th. If lane closures become necessary during this work, we will put an alternating, one-way traffic pattern in place. There will be no lane closures between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The contractor on this work is Glidden Excavating & Paving of Gorham. The dollar amount for this contract is $214,000.
