Route 25 Work in Gorham

GORHAM - The Maine Department of Transportation will be replacing a box culvert over Brandy Brook and making other improvements on Route 25 in Gorham. The project area begins 0.4 mile north of State Street and extends southeasterly for 0.3 miles. In addition to replacing the box culvert, we will also be installing new guardrail and doing paving work. Work is scheduled to begin on July 28th. Drivers should expect an alternating, single-lane traffic pattern between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Monday through Saturday. The project will be suspended for the winter in late November. Paving work will be completed in the spring. Our anticipated total project completion date is April 28th, 2021. The contractor on this project is R.J. Grondin & Sons out of Gorham. The project cost is $1,204,978.
