MANCHESTER - The Maine Department of Transportation is doing paving work and making safety improvements along part of Route 202 in Manchester. The work area begins just east of the Winthrop town line and extends east for a little more than one mile.
During the morning commute (6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.), there will be two open lanes of eastbound traffic and one open lane of westbound traffic. During the evening commute (3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.), there will be two open lanes of westbound traffic and one open lane of eastbound traffic. Lane closures will not exceed 2,500 feet.
The contractor on this project is All States Asphalt of Richmond. The contract amount is $1,026,575. Our anticipated completion date for this project is August 28th.
