MEDIA AVAILIBILITY – Winter Weather Readiness Media Event
AUGUSTA- November 14, 2025 The Maine Department of Transportation invites media to a showcase event highlighting the state’s comprehensive winter weather readiness. With over 8,300 miles of roadway and 2,900 bridges under its care, MaineDOT stands prepared to keep the transportation network safe, open, and well-maintained throughout the harshest months. This event will spotlight the professionalism, dedication, and sacrifice of Maine’s snowfighters. Attendees will get a firsthand look at the winter preparation process.
