KENNEBEC AND SOMERSET COUNTIES - The Maine Department of Transportation will be doing paving work and making other safety improvements along I-95 between Waterville and Pittsfield. This work will impact approximately 18 miles of the interstate both the northbound and southbound sides between the area near Exit 127 in Waterville and the Johnson Flat Road overpass in Pittsfield.
Work is scheduled to begin on May 2nd. Daytime lane closures are allowed between May 2nd and June 24th. After June 24th, the contractor is allowed nighttime lane closures through Labor Day. After Labor Day, daytime lane closures will be allowed again. All work is scheduled to be finished on November 18th.
The contractor on this project is Northeast Paving. The contract amount is $11,819,411.
