Deer Isle-Sedgwick Bridge Inspection and Paving Work

HANCOCK COUNTY - The Maine Department of Transportation is conducting inspection and paving work on the Deer Isle-Sedgwick Bridge. The historic, 82-year-old bridge carries Route 15 over Eggemoggin Reach between Deer Isle and Sedgwick in Hancock County.

Bridge traffic may periodically be reduced to a single lane to accommodate this inspection and paving work. The anticipated completion date is July 1st.

The contractor conducting the inspection is TranSystems of Boston, MA. The contract amount is $395,098. The paving work is being done by BMB Construction of Brewer. That contract amount is $1,238,860.
