HARPSWELL- The Maine Department of Transportation will be conducting work on Ewing Narrows Bridge in Harpswell starting on Monday, July 28. Work is scheduled to be completed by November 1.
This project is a wearing surface replacement project and will include: the removal of old pavement, minor repairs as needed, new pavement, along with some bridge drain modifications and bridge joint work. The maintenance of traffic will be achieved using single lane alternating traffic with flaggers and temporary traffic signals. The contractor on this project is CPM Constructors of Freeport, Maine. The contract amount is $734,282.07.
