Pleasant River Bridge Replacement in Milo

MILO - The Maine Department of Transportation is replacing the Pleasant River Bridge in Milo. This bridge carries Pleasant Street over the Pleasant River. Work is scheduled to begin on December 14th. Crews will maintain two-way traffic on the existing bridge until the new bridge is opened. The contractor on this project is Wyman & Simpson, Inc. of Richmond. The contract amount is $6,954,444. Funds from a discretionary federal TIGER Grant are helping to cover some of the costs of this and other bridge replacement projects. The estimated completion date for this bridge replacement project is June 30th, 2023.
