Overnight Paving to Begin on I-295

Augusta ? Overnight paving will take place on I-295 through Brunswick, Freeport, Yarmouth, Cumberland and Falmouth beginning on Monday, July 18th.

Paving southbound on I-295 will begin at the southerly end of the Androscoggin River Bridge in Brunswick and extend 21.51 miles south to the Falmouth/Portland line.

Paving northbound on I-295 will begin at the Portland/Falmouth town line and extend 21.51 miles north to the Androscoggin River Bridge in Brunswick.

I-295 southbound work will be performed Sunday from 9:00 p.m. to Monday at 6:00 a.m. as well as Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

I-295 northbound work will be performed Sunday through Friday from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and Fridays from 9:00 p.m. to Saturday at 6:00 a.m.

All ramps will remain open.

This ultra-thin bonded wearing course will be applied to prevent the current wearing surface from deteriorating and to help alleviate hydroplaning.

All States Material Group of Sunderland, Massachusetts will perform this $3.3 million project.
