Section 23, Developmental and Behavioral Evaluation Clinic Services: Foster Care Comprehensive Health Assessment - Comment Summary and Final Draft Rates

In October of 2022, the Office of MaineCare Services initiated a rate determination for Foster Care Comprehensive Health Assessments, a new service under Section 23 of the MaineCare Benefits Manual. On November 23, 2022, we held a virtual public forum to present the draft rates and methodologies to interested stakeholders and allow for public comment. Written comments were accepted through December 15, 2022.  

The final draft rate model and a summary of all comments with the Department’s responses, have now been posted to the Rate System Reform website. In determining these final draft rates, MaineCare reviewed and took into consideration all comments received, and we thank all those who contributed.
