MaineMOM

What is MaineMOM?

MaineMOM is a MaineCare program providing team-based care for pregnant and postpartum individuals with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Services are provided during pregnancy and through 12 months postpartum* and are designed to support recovery, promote healthy parenting, and improve maternal and infant health outcomes, as shown in the graphic to the right.

With the MaineMOM program, you’ll receive the care you need, the compassion you deserve, and the support you’ve been looking for. Take the first step, and we’ll be there to help with every step that follows. It won’t be easy, but you’ll never be alone.

While MaineMOM specifically treats patients with OUD, most participating MaineMOM sites also provide care for a full range of substance use disorders in addition to OUD.

*A pregnancy does not need to be carried to full term to qualify for MaineMOM services. Postpartum patients are not required to have custody of their infants to qualify for MaineMOM services.
