You may have seen an e message from MaineCare in September 2025 about Modivcare, one of MaineCare’s transportation companies, filing for bankruptcy. Modivcare has shared that they officially came out of bankruptcy on December 29, 2025.
If Modivcare is your transportation provider, nothing has changed. You should continue to call Modivcare to schedule rides and request mileage reimbursement.
