Notice of Intent to Waive Competitive Bidding (NOI)

Thank you for your interest in State of Maine purchasing and contracting.  The Office of State Procurement Services works with every Department in the State of Maine’s Executive Branch of government to process that Department’s procurement requirements in accordance with State statute.  This webpage has been created in order to list the State’s intended procurements over $10,000 that are being carried out without a competitive process (i.e. NOI).  This webpage provides a link to the issuing Department’s “Waiver of Competitive Bidding” form used to explain the rationale for not using competition, as well as provide the statutory basis for that action.  If any Vendor or other interested party would like to comment on one of these intended, non-competitive procurements, please complete this Response Form (doc) and submit the completed form as an attachment to NOI-Response@maine.gov.  Thank you again for your interest in State of Maine purchasing and contracting.
