Premium Holiday Update

The State of Manie Health Plan experienced a 2.6% increase in medical plan premium rates for the 2022-2023 health plan year. These new rates began with paychecks issued in the new fiscal year, which began on July 1, 2022. These rate increases will be mitigated by a “Premium Holiday” in the months of August, September, October & November. In other words, employee health plan members saw an initial uptick in paycheck premium deductions beginning July 1 but will have no medical plan premiums taken out during the months of August through November.

Deductions for premiums associated with any dental and vision plan coverage will continue normally. Health Plan deductions will resume in November.
