Use of Varenicline and Nicotine Replacement Therapy for Tobacco Cessation

Effective February 18, 2022, MaineCare covers the use of varenicline and nicotine replacement therapies prescribed together for tobacco cessation and will cover prescriptions for both products for a member, regardless of the member’s prescription history.
