Section 109, Speech & Hearing - New Codes and Rates Implemented - CR139347
Effective January 1, 2026, MaineCare updated the section 109 fee schedule with the following new codes and rates.

We updated the fee schedule to reflect these changes on April 6, 2026, and it is available on the Rate Setting page of the Health PAS Online Portal.
Adjustment Guidance for Dates of Service January 1, 2026 – April 14, 2026
- Providers are responsible for adjusting claims with charges submitted below the new rates. Per policy, adjustments must be submitted within 120 days of the most recent payment date. The Department recommends adjusting the oldest dates of service first, to avoid timely filing denials.
- MaineCare will adjust paid claims that were submitted with charges at or above the new rates. No provider action is necessary.
