Quarterly Physician Drug Code and Rate Update: Quarter 1, CR 138460

Effective January 1, 2026, MaineCare retroactively updated the Physician Drug Rates to align with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) quarterly update. We implemented these rates on March 4, 2026.

You can find the updated rates on the Rate Setting webpage of the Health PAS Online Portal. 

Adjustment Billing Guidance

We will reprocess claims that you submitted at or above the new rates, for dates of service January 1, 2026 through March 3, 2026. No provider action is needed.
