Attention Section 25, Dental Service Providers: Benchmarking Results and Draft Rates, Public Review and Comment
On October 13, 2023, MaineCare provided notice that it had initiated a Rate Determination Process* for Dental Services. Existing benchmarks are being rebased pursuant to MRS Title 22, §3173-J. We outlined this process during our kick-off meeting with providers on November 29, 2023. This message outlines the next steps in the rate determination process.
PUBLIC REVIEW
On March 29, 2024, MaineCare will hold a virtual public forum via Zoom, to present updated benchmarking results and draft rates along with rationales. After the forum, the presented materials and a recording of the presentation will be posted online.
As providers and interested stakeholders, your feedback is important during the rate determination process. We encourage you to participate as we discuss the draft rates and collect feedback on these important changes.
