Attention Home Health and Hospice Services Providers: Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Provider Survey

All Home Health Services under Section 40 and Hospice Services under Section 43 are required to use EVV for services delivered in a MaineCare member's home or in a community-based services setting by January 1, 2023. An EVV system is used to verify the date, time, and site of a visit, as well as services provided and who provided the service. Maine has an open EVV system platform which allows providers to utilize the State-offered EVV system or their own EVV system (an Alternate EVV system) to connect with MIHMS.

We are offering trainings about EVV requirements. Additionally, in April, we plan to re-start forums for more technical system questions. Separate trainings and forums are available for providers using the State EVV system or an Alternate EVV system.

Please take our brief survey by February 25, 2022, to help us tailor the training and forum materials and schedule to meet your needs.

Please contact Provider Relations Specialist, Tammy Usher, with questions.
