MDIFW NEWS: Standish Search for NH Man

STANDISH, Maine - Maine Game Wardens, Sheriff's Deputies and Standish Fire/EMS responded to Watchic Road #4 in Standish for a reported missing person/overdue Kayaker at around 1:00 this afternoon. Timothy Clauge, 39, of Nottingham, New Hampshire, arrived in Standish for a family celebration late last evening. Sometime after midnight, Clauge launched his Kayak to go fishing on Watchic Lake and has not been heard from since. Clauges Kayak was recovered overturned on the lake by an area resident earlier today.

Clauge is described as a white male, 600" feet tall, 200 lbs. with blue eyes and brown hair. Maine game warden divers have suspended their search efforts this evening and will resume tomorrow. Sheriffs Deputies continue to investigate.
