A list of all approved trainings, dates, and contact information should be sent to the Training Center on an annual basis - this information will be maintained on the Nonpoint Source Training Center website.
Tracking Attendance
In order to track the attendance of these approved trainings, please submit a class roster or legible sign-in sheet to NPSTraining.DEP@maine.gov as soon as possible following the training; Email addresses must be included on the attendance sheet to ensure that certification credits can be applied. In addition, participants in these programs should provide proof of attendance and satisfactory completion, such as a certificate. Please instruct attendees seeking DEP certification credit to follow up with NPSTC staff to ensure credits are applied correctly.
Review
DEP will periodically review all previously approved trainings to ensure consistency with program goals. If approved trainings are found to no longer meet program goals, or, do not provide adequate information to determine the level of quality and credibility required, the Training Center reserves the right to disqualify any training from receiving credit under the program.
