Maine State Government Publications Checklist

The Maine State Government Publications Checklist lists all of the state agency publications received by the Maine State Library during the indicated quarter. Copies of each publication are held for use at the State Library and its depositories (listed below) and, in most cases, are available to borrow. Neither the Maine State Library nor any of its depositories have extra copies to give to persons/agencies. Instructions on how to obtain such copies are listed below.

MRSA Title 1, Chapter 13, Section 501-A requires all Maine state agencies to deposit copies of their publications with the Maine State Library.

How to obtain copies of listed publications

• Use/borrow from Maine State Library and designated depository libraries statewide.
• In some cases access via the Internet is available via the listed URL; URSUS, the State Library catalog; or by visiting the publishing agency’s website
• Contact issuing state agency for your own copy (if available).
  • Request by title, not classification number.
  • Some agencies charge a fee for their publications.
