MDIFW NEWS: Game wardens seeking information/Gorham

Game wardens need your help to identify two men who fled the scene of a hunting related shooting in Gorham this morning. Just before 8:00 AM, a 55-year-old Casco man was shot in the face with birdshot while hunting pheasant off Mosher Road (Route 237) in Gorham. The incident took place across the road from Shaw Bros. Construction.

The victim had a brief interaction with two men after he was shot. The two men, who were not identified, quickly fled the area. Based on witness statements, one of the suspects is described as tall man with black hair, glasses and possibly in his 30?s. The other man is average height, heavy set with a dirty blonde mustache possibly in his 40?s.

Witness statements also described the vehicle as a dark green, early 2000?s 4x4 Toyota two-door pickup, extended cab with no cap on the bed. It was described as being bigger than a Tacoma, possibly an older Toyota T100 or Tundra. The victim has non-life threatening injuries and is being treated at Bridgton Hospital.
