Bangor ? Crews will be working on Interstate 95 during the overnight hours on the Union Street Bridge project in Bangor. This work involves closing various lanes of traffic on the interstate to allow for construction to take place safely between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The current schedule for the week of August 25th is as follows:

Monday, August 25th:

The northbound travel lane, the southbound passing lane and the Exit 184 southbound on-ramp will be closed.

Tuesday, August 26th:

Raymond ? Crews will be replacing a culvert on Route 85 in Raymond beginning on Tuesday, August 26th at 6:00 a.m.

The project location is 0.70 of a mile north of Plains Road, or 500ft. north of Kokatosi Road. Route 85 northbound will be closed to thru traffic at Plains Road (local traffic only). For southbound motorists, traffic will be detoured at the junction with Route 11 in Casco.

An approximately nine mile signed detour route will be as follows:

Saco ? As the paving and milling project continues on I-195 in Saco, ramp closures are scheduled for Thursday evening, August 28th into Friday morning, August 29th. The schedule is as follows:

The Exit 2B eastbound off-ramp will be closed from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

The Exit 2A westbound off-ramp will be closed from 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

The Exit 2B westbound off-ramp will be closed from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists will follow the signed detour route during these closures.

Saco ? As the paving and milling project continues on I-195 in Saco, ramp closures are scheduled for Thursday evening, July 28th into Friday morning, July 29th. The schedule is as follows:

The Exit 2B eastbound off-ramp will be closed from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

The Exit 2A westbound off-ramp will be closed from 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

The Exit 2B westbound off-ramp will be closed from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists will follow the signed detour route during these closures.

China ? Crews will be replacing a failing culvert on Route 137 at the China/Winslow town line beginning on Wednesday, September 3rd.

A detour will be in place that will take motorists approximately 7.3 miles from Route 137 onto Maple Ridge Road to Stanley Hill Road to Neck Road then back to Route 137.

It is anticipated all work will be completed by the end of the day on Friday, September 5th.

This $91,000 project will be performed by KC Works, Inc. of Jackson, Maine.

A multi-vehicle crash has occured on I-295 near mile marker 3 in Scarborough. Emergency vehicles are on the scene. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.

Augusta ? The reconstruction of Western Avenue in Augusta has been challenging at times and we want to express our gratitude to the traveling public for entering the site with patience and attention to the traffic changes that have occurred since the start of construction.

Bangor ? Crews will be working on Interstate 95 during the overnight hours on the Union Street Bridge project in Bangor. The Exit 184 northbound on-ramp will be closed to traffic today, Monday, September 8th at 4:00 p.m. and will re-open to traffic on or about September 17th. All other ramp closures will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

The ramp closures for this week (September 8th) are as follows:

Monday, September 8th: The northbound on-ramp will be closed beginning at 4:00 p.m. The northbound travel lane will be closed during the overnight hours.

A vehicle crash has slowed traffic on I-295 northbound at mile 4 in Scarborough.

Emergency vehicles have arrived and traffic has been reduced to one lane.

Motorists are advised to allow for extra time or to seek an alternate route.

Bangor ? As part of the Union Street Bridge project at Exit 184, the southbound off-ramp from I-95 will be shut down on Monday, September 15th from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

The southbound on-ramp at Exit 184 will remain open.
