Atrezzo Upgrade

On Monday, November 7, 2022, Kepro upgraded their web-based platform to Atrezzo Next Generation. The Atrezzo Next Generation (ANG) platform is an improved interface with enhanced security features such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). The original Atrezzo platform will be deactivated on March 1, 2023, at which time only the ANG platform will be active for use by providers.

Providers are encouraged to log into the updated ANG platform to establish their MFA if they have not already done so.  

ANG brings the Maine Administrative Services Organization (ASO) an even more flexible, intuitive, and highly automated system that streamlines the utilization review and reporting processes for clients and providers. ANG fulfills all components of the scope of services defined in the Maine ASO Utilization Management (UM) program, as it offers the modularity and flexibility needed to evolve with the ever-changing healthcare technology landscape. Our flexibility comes from ANG’s best-in-class platform, custom-built by Kepro, which can be rapidly configured and tailored to meet ASO’s unique program needs. 

Training Plan and Resources 

Training materials on the Maine ASO client website are accessed by this link: http://www.qualitycareforme.com/. Training sessions are a previously recorded webinar demonstration, and there are several modules for providers to review based on user role permissions. Providers can access training links at their convenience on the website.

Module 1: Provider Portal Login and Multifactor Authentication Registration   
     Duration: 30 minutes 

Provider administrators who are responsible for adding and managing users for local management should attend.

Module 2: Submitting Prior Authorization Requests   
     Duration: 60 minutes

All users should attend to learn how to submit a request and how to manage a request once it’s submitted.
