Effective September 8, 2022 (adopted by the Office of Cannabis Policy September 1, 2022)
The Office of Cannabis Policy has completed final adoption of the rules to establish a regulatory framework governing adult use, also known as recreational, cannabis in Maine. The rule appears in the Code of Maine Rules as 18-691 C.M.R. ch. 1 – Adult Use Marijuana Program.
Both the major substantive and routine technical portions of this rule are in effect September 8, 2022. A copy of the adopted rule appears immediately below.
