Data

One of the guiding principles of the Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) is to strive to be transparent and clearly communicate with the public and stakeholders. To support that principle, OCP's Open Data portal provides access to information that is frequently requested by interested individuals. We expect that this portal will continue to grow as Maine's adult use and medical cannabis programs continue to mature. Accordingly, for the ease of review, this information has been divided into two sections reflecting these two distinct programs.

Sales tax data for both programs is maintained by Maine Revenue Services (MRS) and is publicly available on the MRS website based on information as filed by tax filers. Visit this MRS webpage and select "monthly cannabis taxable sales statewide" to see the most recent quarterly report.
