2023 Listening Tour
The Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) is pleased to announce that OCP Director John Hudak and staff will be conducting a statewide listening tour in 2023!
There will be four community listening sessions held across the state:

Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
University of Maine at Machias, Machias -
Androscoggin County Listening Session
Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
Central Maine Community College, Auburn -
Cumberland County Listening Session
Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
University of Southern Maine, Portland -
Somerset County Listening Session
Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
Poulin-Turner Union Hall, Skowhegan
Our listening tour is a significant step in the process of becoming more engaged, transparent, and accessible to all of our stakeholders. This includes medical and adult use cannabis program participants, municipalities, and members of the public. Join us to ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about Maine's regulated cannabis programs.
2022 Listening Tour
OCP visited five counties in 2022 for community listening events that engaged stakeholders and the general public in conversations about Maine’s two cannabis programs.
The Community Listening Tour consisted of events in the following locations:
- June 22, 2022 in Biddeford (York County)
- July 20, 2022 in Waterville (Kennebec County)
- August 24, 2022 in Bangor (Penobscot County)
- September 14, 2022 in Ellsworth (Hancock County)
- October 12, 2022 in Presque Isle (Aroostook County)
