The Office of Cannabis Policy's (OCP's) listening tour is a significant step in the process of becoming more engaged, transparent, and accessible to all of our stakeholders. Each event provides an opportunity for medical and adult use cannabis program participants, municipalities, and members of the public to ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about Maine's regulated cannabis programs.
2023 Listening Tour
OCP visited four counties in 2023 for community listening events that engaged stakeholders and the general public in conversations about Maine’s two cannabis programs.
The Community Listening Tour consisted of events in the following locations:
- July 25, 2023 in Machias (Washington County)
- August 23, 2023 in Auburn (Androscoggin County)
- September 27, 2023 in Portland (Cumberland County)
- October 18, 2023 in Skowhegan (Somerset County)
