Thank you for your interest in the rulemaking work of the Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP). Public input is critical as OCP develops its regulations for Maine’s cannabis programs.
The Office is currently accepting comments on Chapter 5 and Chapter 40 of its administrative regulations for the Adult Use Cannabis Program (AUCP). All public comments must be submitted to OCP by Friday, August, 14, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Each “Rulemaking Public Comment Form" provides designated space for comments on the proposed rules. For example, to comment on Rules for the Certification of Cannabis Testing Facilities, 18-691 C.M.R., Chapter 5, § 1 - Cannabis Testing Facility Certification Program Established, please select that section specifically and then provide your comment in the text box that follows. Do this for as many sections you would like to comment on.
