Summer Reading Starting Soon!

The theme for the 2008 Collaborative Summer Reading Program is "Catch The Reading Bug!" We will be sending sign up sheets in a few weeks, and they'll also be available on our website.

Maine Humanities Council Podcasts Available

Maine Writers Speak: Interviews with Maine Authors by Charlotte Albright is now available on CD to Books-By-Mail patrons by arrangement with the Maine Humanities Council. The disc includes interviews with 11 Maine authors, including Cathy Pelletier, Betsy Sholl, and Richard Russo. More podcasts are available free on the Maine Humanities Council's website: http://mainehumanities.org/podcasts/index.html
