Evan served in the US Marine Corp. He truly knows the sacrifice our soldiers make as he lost his brother to war. He helps veterans everyday as a "claims specialist" with the Maine Veteran Services. He is one "Marine" that deserves to be honored!
Dear Dad, I just want you to know how very much I love you and how proud I am of you and all the service you have done for your family, community and country!
I'm honoring my Grandfather Ernest Alvard Varney Jr., who was part of the Medical Company of the 7th Infantry Regiment. He passed away July 26, 1999. Although he has passed away he is still my hero. I Love You Grampy.
Commander Erich Ashburn served honorably in the United States Navy for twenty years of dedicated service, he rose up through the enlisted ranks, accepted a Naval Commission, and commanded the Navy's first Hyrdo-plane ship, and went on to command the FLEET INTRODUCTION TEAM ONE at Bath, Maine supporting the Navy's FFG 7 Shipbuilding Program. His death was much too early and untimely.
Eric served in Saudi Arabia, and later in Kuwait. He flew Medical Evac Blackhawks. Because of his service he has Gulf War Syndrome, but still holds down a full time job working for the State of Maine.
Thank you for your service protecting all Americans.
Thank you for honoring our country and your fellow soldiers by serving in the Persian Gulf War. Your family is very proud of you.
Honor my Dad for his service to our country in WWII.
Although this day November 17, 2004 is my first day without you physically, hardens my heart. May your hunting, military stories and words of wisdom forever hold my heart. I love you Gramps and I will miss you.
