Stephen Phillips Memorial Library / Penobscot Marine Museum
The library collects materials relating to the maritime record of the State of Maine in shipbuilding, shipping and all related maritime and coastal artivities and industries. In order to meet our goals, we collect materials related to maritime technology, maritime industries, shipboard experiences, maritime communities ashore and at sea, local histories, and life experiences, all in support of material and social interpretation of our maritime past in context.
Old Berwick Historical Society/Counting House Museum
Archaeological collection of the homestead of Humphrey and Lucy Chadbourne, late 1600s, South Berwick, excavated by Dr. Emerson Baker 1995-2007. One of Maine?s most extensive archaeological finds from the 17th century, with over 40,000 artifacts.
