Frenchboro Historical Society
Of primary interest are materials of historical significance made or owned by Frenchboro residents. On display are artifacts such as household items, toys, tools and fishing equipment, as well as religious and educational items. Archival materials such as books, maps, photographs, deeds and other paper-based documents are also included in our collection.
Franco-American Collection, University of Southern Maine
The state's largest repository of material on the French-Canadian immigrant community from the mid-19th century to the present. Particular strengths include snowshoeing, hockey, textile manufacturing, Catholic churches and institutions, music, and cuisine.
